William the Conqueror, Rye

Here's a few of our recent reviews we'd like to share with you

So good we went twice during our holiday. Ideally situated at Rye Harbour so having walked the dog down on the beach it's ideal to pop in for lunch. The menu is a mixture of popular pub food and Greek cuisine. The fish is really really fresh and there are chocolate spoons with the waffles! Staff friendly and dogs allowed throughout. There is parking but also the big free car park nearby.

One of the best Shepherd neame pubs I have been to in a long time. Beautiful set out, Friendly and welcoming staff great food but more importantly good beer

Found this pub after escaping Pontins, Camber Sands. It was clean, friendly, dog and child friendly and the menu was fab with a greek influence. We had a meze, chicken souvlaki and gorgeous home made burgers. Wish we lived closer.

Very popular it seems following its refurbishment. Could not have been made more welcome and had a very nice light lunch - lovely souvlaki and Greek salad. Will definitely return. Well worth the trip down to Rye Harbour past the less attractive commercial buildings and refinery. Lovely walks beside the river and over the marshes to the sea.

Popped in yesterday, really really busy, all the tables booked for lunch. But we decided to wait and the lovely lady managed to get us a table. The fish and chips were the best we had ever had. Staff were fantastic, will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended (loved the decor)

Had a fabulous evening celebrating a family birthday in beautiful surroundings with delicious food! Highly recommend this place.

An absolute coincidence to be lucky enough to pop in after a walk with our boys. Wonderful d├ęcor, atmosphere and personal welcome from the Landlord. Fab find , will definitely call again if we are down this way.
